Brian Kachinsky explores the road less traveled and discovers a different sort of paradise in the high desert of Southern California... "Each year millions of people travel to Southern California in search of the endless summer. As the days get shorter and winter sets in this journey to the west can seem like an escape to paradise. Many flock to the Los Angeles area and upon landing immediately head a short distance westward to the coastline. I've done this before. I liked it. Recently, after landing at LAX I never saw the ocean or the Hollywood walk of fame. Instead, I headed east into the high desert in search of a different sort of paradise. As BMXers we are often cut from from a different cloth. Our ideal paradise doesn't always include the sandy beaches, fancy nightclubs or resorts. Sometimes we are just happy to ride a new spot and explore the road less traveled." -Brian Kachinsky Huge thanks goes out to Vans and DK for their support on this project. Music by Figures of Wax

Rail rides aren't necessarily a trick you "learn," per say. The concept is simple. The technique is straight forward. But there are some tips to help you along the way, and Dennis Enarson was ever so kind enough to lay those out for ya. When all else fails...man up! These how-to's are presented by Woodward Camp...the easiest place in the world to learn tricks: 🤍 🤍 Filmed/edit: Ryan Fudger Music: Master Blaster - " Seasons2"
GT has been making some moves as of late. First they brought on product guru Ben Ward as BMX brand manager, then they added Brian Kachinsky to the equation, turning the team into a stacked trifecta of Kachinsky, Jeremiah Smith, and Rob Wise. The dudes recently convened in LA for a week, effectively kicking off the beginning of this new era for GT. Music by Death and Vanilla 🤍 🤍 🤍
Ride BMX's 2008 DVD, Insight... "Each person deals with their own battles when filming a video part. With Insight, I wanted to use the video to convey that idea. I wanted the audience to be able to connect with a rider by seeing something they could relate to other than just tricks. When it was first confirmed that I'd gotten the opportunity to make this video, the first person I had in mind to have a video part was Dakota Roche. At the time when we started filming it was obvious to me that Dak was going to do big things in BMX. It just so happened that he also lived a few blocks away from where I was staying at the time (renting a room from Todd Lyons). Dak and I shared a similar passion for videos and he was a huge motivator during the whole process. The one thing that stands out the most years later is his enthusiasm for the project. He'd show up early at my place to wake me up to go film or call me when I was out of town to tell me about a spot he had in mind. He also owned a vx2000 and was always down to help shoot and drive people around in his creepy white work van. I'm pretty sure his part ender was filmed on Thanksgiving Day." —Ryan Navazio For all things BMX, hit up 🤍
Bunny hop 360s on flat ground can be a bitch. No matter how dialed you have them over a wedge-hip, or into a bank, the simple terrain of level ground seems to pose a set of challenges all its own... Well it's How-Tuesday, so we got reigning hop 360 champ Broc Raiford to guide the way for you... Just carve a little, pop, and scoop those feet up into your ass. Oh, and LOOK OVER YOUR SHOULDER!
Trent McDaniel is likely a dude you've been sleeping on. He rides for Division Brand, keeps a relatively low-profile, but just left Chicago and is making his way West. Here's his 2016 section for Division that he filmed out in Chi-town with Andrew Brady. That wild kinker ice, backwards-pegs to over-tooth, and wall-hubba feeble to hard were all standouts in my book. WeThePeople's newest mixtape features over 20-minutes of footy from the whole team riding spots around. the globe. Dan Foley, Jordan Godwin, Mike Curley, Dan Foley, and many more. "The months that follow summer in Europe are always a struggle to get clips, you always feel like you are fighting off the winter and everyday of sunshine could be your last. We set about filming for LIT early October and the mission was kind of simple: Every rider had 2 months to film what they could and then send the final clips to me to edit towards the end of November. Injuries hit a few of the guys, the weather crept up sooner on some but everyone came through with some great footage. When I sat down and threw the clips together I realised this was going to be a 20 + minute thing and immediately started to stress about where to even start with the editing. Mix tapes are just what they say on the label, a mix of clips from all over thrown into the pot. If there’s one thing I’m hyped on it’s the fact that we as a brand have an awesome squad both in Europe and across the globe and this video represented the crew just perfect in my opinion. It also made the slow winding down process that winter brings a little bit more creative. Thanks to every rider who contributed clips and every filmer who stuck it out in the cold to contribute."

The Wetlands trails are a southern california gem that have somehow remained well-hidden, while being right under everyone's noses for years. Local dudes Anthony Napolitan and Mike Hucker Clark are joined by Dylan Stark, Cory Nastazio, Larry Edgar, Matt Cordova, and many more during the first big session since some remodeling went down earlier this year.
Eric Lichtenberger owns the streets and alleyways of Long Beach, CA in promotion of his signature Stranger grips. I've once heard Eric say that LB has too many spots... and when you ride like Eric it's easy to see why. EVERYTHING is a spot! Eric Lichtenberger is your favorite rider's favorite pegless rider. The Eric L. Grip features a thin almost mesh like pattern throughout the entire grip with small smooth flanges on each end. The extra long 165mm length makes them perfect for modern riding and the ultra soft compound makes them feel good right off the shelf.
The idea of the full section, or the "Pro Part", is something we've seen shift with time. As physical DVDs dwindle, more and more professional riders are taking to the web as the next best means to showcase the fruits of their labor. As much as the day to day IG video, or quick street/plaza session-edit has to offer, there's still something unmatched by the full section formula, consisting of months of blood, sweat, and pain... Ryan "Biz" Jordan has been around for over a decade, he's invented tricks, placed at major contests, and most importantly he's filmed countless epic video parts over the span of his lengthy professional career... So who better to kick of this onslaught of "Pro Part' sections? Sit back, relax, and enjoy these 3 minutes of destruction that Biz cooked up with nomadic Australian lensman Calvin Kosovich. "Filming with Biz for this project was pretty relaxed I’m basically living on his couch so we could get up and ride any day of the week as long as the spot was weekday friendly. No injuries just good old fashioned clips for this part which was a nice change for what we do on a daily basis. I guess we filmed for like 6 months, I was in Australia for a month in between the filming process so there was a little break as for that it was pretty consistent film days. For those who don’t know, Biz is older than most Pro’s still riding at this high level so it was impressive to see and film these clips with him. It is with much honor to put this together for the world to see, many years ahead with Biz in our industry I’m sure of it. This is what a Pro Bmx rider looks like, don’t forget it." - Calvin Kosovich
The quick manual-180 is the newer, sleek, updated version of its "long manual-180" counterpart. You can basically do a quick manual-180 on almost anything.. From curb islands to rocks, electrical boxes, ledges, and even rails. Getting the right pop with the quickness can be hard, but once you get that muscle memory down it's just like riding a bike... Fit pro Morgan Long shows you the way.
Josh De Reus is a highly advanced street technician from Australia with support from Premium Products. Calvin Kosovich was recently back in Australia and met up with Josh for a little afternoon session. The dude is on another level.
