Remnant 2 is a stunning game, but you may be tempted to turn on an image upscaler to improve the framerate due to how demanding it is. If you are to do so, which one should you choose? This is a simple comparison of looking at one area of the game, and switching between Intel XESS, AMD FSR, and Nvidia DLSS, all on their Quality setting. This was all done on medium graphical settings, as I believe this is the most balanced preset for performance and visual fidelity. However, I threw in native rendering at ultra just for comparison. Overall, I believe Intel XESS edged out this scene, looking better than even the ultra preset to me. #shorts #short #nvidia #amd In this video we'll show you the differences in image quality between AMD's FSR, Intel's XeSS, and Nvidia's DLSS . It was recently announced that Starfield will partner up exclusively with AMD for the PC version, and a lot of gamers are not happy, as it means there is a possibility of FSR being the only upscaling solution being implemented. Multiple outlets, like Hardware Unboxed and Gamers Nexus, reached out to Nvidia about the claims that AMD are paying developers not to implement DLSS or XeSS. AMD replied with "no comment", so that pretty much confirms it in my mind. That said, Starfield will probably launch with DLSS due to all the backlash AMD are currently receiving, and there is still some time for the developers to do so. Either way, it is pretty scummy as Nvidia released a statement saying that they dont block competitor's upscaling tech from being implemented. My gripe is not with FSR being included as I think it is a great piece of tech, especially for older GPUs. But the fact that it is being excluded completely is just beyond me.

When switching to XESS in game it requires the game to restart since xess requires dx12 to run it, dx11 was used on all other clips.
